What does the ‘Built by Mulder’ concept entail?

The ‘Built by Mulder’ concept offers naval architects and clients the opportunity to use the top-quality craftsmanship and building capacities of Mulder Shipyard to realise their own design. Although Mulder has its own renowned range of motoryachts, owners and architects can also engage our expertise to develop a yacht according to their own unique design. We have a rich experience of working with leading architects such as Vripack, Ginton and Guido de Groot. Our only condition for a yacht to carry the ‘Built by Mulder’ label is that the design be in line with the image and quality requirements set by Dick Mulder.

The motoryacht Eleonore is a fine example of the ‘Built by Mulder’ concept. Prior to her build the owner visited the Mulder yard but had not been able to find exactly what he required from the existing Mulder range or designs. As a result, he asked naval architect Theo Werner to draw a highly distinctive yacht and requested four yards to submit a tender for its build. This tender was won by Mulder Shipyard, and we delivered a splendid yacht outside of our usual portfolio and to the delight of Eleonore’s owner.







Kotter 'Timeless' ( architect Willem de Vriesch Lentsch)

Mulder Shipyard built the stunning 22.5-metre ‘kotter’ yacht Timeless to a design by the renowned Dutch architect Willem de Vriesch Lentsch. In this case too, the owner commissioned the design of the yacht and engaged Mulder Shipyard for the construction. Timeless has now covered numerous sea miles in a wide variety of conditions to the full satisfaction of her owner, and is still one of the most beautiful yachts in every marina she enters.







Mulder 'Bellagio' ( architect Vripack)

One of the latest projects is a 16-metre ‘Volvo IPS’ driven motoryacht developed in cooperation with Vripack Naval architects. With its modern lines, the yacht was designed as a super tender for a superyacht. Mulder Shipyard is taking a limited number into production for sale.
